In Abbott’s Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives. **Primary Function:** + As a Professional Education Specialist for Cardiac Electrophysiology, your primary responsibility will be to manage and supervise the professional education programs and performance on Abbott electrophysiologic products and related techniques to EP professionals at the regional level. **Major Responsibilities:** + Represent Abbott EP as a market leader in our industry and the marketplace by consulting with healthcare Professionals on products and solutions. + Provide education programs on the safe and effective use of Abbott products and procedures for Healthcare Professionals (HCPs). + Oversee and proctor education programs for Healthcare Professionals at country level. + Develop, design and instruct educational programs for all healthcare professionals on products and techniques associated with Abbott products. + Manage online learning educational management system assuring 100% compliance. + Identify specific education activities to assist the sales team in achieving and exceeding product sales initiatives. + Ability to delegate and communicate the goals and objectives of the organization pertaining to professional education. Develop winning strategies and a willingness to think outside the box. + Communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding a variety of topics, including the latest techniques and literature, peer-reviewed articles, white papers, product updates, changes to product portfolio, and educational programs. + Participate in and attend sales meetings, industrial training, and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required. **Requirements:** + Bachelor of Science or related disciplines. Master's level degree in Health Science advantageous. + Minimum 5 years of related experienced in professional education/clinical training/clinical sales, preferably in medical devices industry + Candidates with Electrophysiology industry knowledge preferred + Excellent communication skills both verbal and written + Excellent program management skills + Excellent attention to detail, proofreading, and organizational skills + Ability to perform detailed work accurately + Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Follow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
