ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Water Conveyance Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to hydraulic modeling and master planning projects for public agencies and private developers. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, self-driven, and capable of developing strong client relationships. Experience with feasibility studies and performing complex hydraulic calculations is essential, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Assist with managing projects, starting with development of the initial project design concept, development of a project plan (including identification of staffing requirements and preparation of project schedule)Assist with the execution of project design (management of resources within constraints of project budget and schedule).Serve as a project engineer.Independently coordinate the work of engineers, designers/draft persons and sub-consultants throughout the project’s execution. Establish and maintain client relations. Attends client meetings. Be involved with marketing, contractual development, and design implementation.Assist with managing the financial aspects of assigned engineering projects; coordinating and adjusting the work effort within the project team to ensure project work is completed on schedule and within allocated budget.Simultaneously manage multiple projects and clients.Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents. Responsible for project team quality system tasks as defined in the Quality Assurance / Quality Control guidelines.Strong written and verbal communication skillsDevelop and calibrate water and/or wastewater hydraulic modelsConduct transient analysisPerform hydraulic calculations (pressure and gravity systems)Support master planning projectsCoordinate and communicate effectively with clients and project teamsPreparing clear, concise technical reports summarizing modeling results Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university4+ years’ experience in the field or a related areaValid driver’s licenseTo understand the concepts of Hydraulic analysis of water and/or wastewater systemsLicensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)GIS applications using ArcGIS ProKnowledge of Innovyze or Bentley modeling softwares (e.g., WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater Pro, InfoWorks ICM)
