Kleinfelder is seeking a Professional Engineer to join our growing team. If a fast-paced, diverse, and dynamic team is what you are seeking, then this is the opportunity you have been looking for. The project work will be multi-disciplinary in nature relating to water infrastructure design and construction. This role will present significant career growth opportunities for the right individuals. This position can be based in the Centre Hall, PA or Montoursville, PA offices.
Job Responsibilities:
5 plus years of professional engineering experience in providing design, and consulting services related to private and/or municipal Drinking Water/Wastewater, Land Development, Site Grading & Storm Drainage, Erosion and Sediment Control and Storm Water Best Management Practices from planning through construction.Ability to manage a design team and provide guidance to EIT’s and design technicians.Ability to develop technical specifications and bid documents with land development and/or public water/wastewater facilities and systems.Be accountable and manage project schedule and budget relating to design deliveryFollow internal and/or client procedures and standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDevise innovative and creative solutions to problems encounteredAbility to work as a team player, take direction, and interact well with othersPerforming site visits related to job scoping and coordinate with survey crews, Geotech, etc.Self-starter who can work independently and with team members
Position Requirements:
B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution or acceptable equivalent5 plus years of experience as a Professional EngineerLicensed Professional Engineer Excellent verbal and written communication skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel and AutoCAD/Civil 3DExperience with municipal funding, bidding and contract procedures
