The Professional Facility Management Support role for the FFIP business unit (Formulation, Filling, Inspection and Packaging) provides support to the Building Owner under his/her leadership and direction, contributing to oversight of FFIP Buildings 37, 57, 77, and 87 facilities management and associated shutdown activities. In addition, participates in FFIP Manufacturing Strategic initiatives.
Responsible for coordinating and interfacing with Site Services on Security, Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Engineering and Metrology/Calibration activities for Facilities exterior structure and mechanical areas of B37, B57, B77, and B87. The position is responsible for providing support to the building owner ensuring current FDA, International Regulatory Body, Sanofi Quality, and Sanofi Safety standards are consistently met.

Main Responsibilities:
Ensure Facilities, Services, and Utilities meet the established strategic vision of the areas of assigned buildings (B37, B57, B77, B87).
Provide direction to ensure facility, services and utilities deviations, change controls, and CAPAs commitments are met on time and with the highest standards of quality.
Provide oversight of the manufacturing facility mechanical areas, ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained.
Provide support to building owner for special projects including providing assistance and recommendations regarding B37, B57, B77, and B87 manufacturing areas, equipment, processes, and facility shutdowns relating to the integration of these manufacturing areas.
Functions on a high performing team, providing effective communication to the team and other functional groups at the site or other manufacturing sites, execution of deliverables/commitments on time.
Context of the job/major challenges:
Ensure Facilities, Services, and Utilities meet the established strategic vision of the areas of assigned buildings (B37, B57, B77 & B87). This individual is responsible to ensure the manufacturing facilities and equipment within his/her control is properly maintained. In addition, this position will verify the continued validated state of all equipment and processes within their assigned area of responsibility. Coordinate and oversee the supervision of Security accesses (verification of training) to the facilities and the Lab Watch call lists needed for each area. Review and audit Security, emergency and Lab Watch call lists when needed. Work with maintenance and metrology to ensure proper critical spare parts inventory (building and utilities) is maintained and in control.
Provide support to building owner ensuring facility, services and utilities deviations, change controls, and CAPA commitments are met on time and with the highest standards of quality. Work with Engineering, HSE, and Site Services to ensure the buildings are in compliance with local, state, and federal policies, procedures, codes, and regulations affecting operation and recommend corrective action as necessary. Responsible for developing, defining, tracking, and coordinating shutdown activities through the use area’s comprehensive scheduling models.
Provide support to building owner overseeing mechanical areas of the manufacturing facilities, ensuring the highest safety standards are maintained. Responsible for meeting the Energy usage and Waste disposal objectives of assigned areas. Provide direction and coordinate Pest Control activities for assigned areas and provide assistance to leak investigations.
Responsible for providing support to special projects including assistance and recommendations regarding B37, B57, B77, and B87 manufacturing areas, equipment, processes, and facilities shutdowns relating to the integration of these manufacturing areas. Development of working relationships and strong communication links through all levels of the organization. Provides day-to-day support for B37, B57, B77, and B87 facilities to support completion of short-term projects.
Participates in development and execution of strategic initiatives for the Manufacturing organization.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Associate degree required, preferably in Engineering, Management or Life Sciences OR a minimum 4 years of equivalent work experience with a High School diploma or G.E.D.
A minimum of two (2) years working in manufacturing, preferably a regulated environment. Knowledge of cGMPs and regulatory requirements are required. Leadership and people management skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong technical and leadership skills required to lead facilities management.
Strong cross-functional working skills to cut across organizational boundaries within and outside of Manufacturing.
Proficiency with Excel formulas and automation.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to actively and cooperatively work with cross functional teams.
