Internship purpose

Support manufacturing operations team in continuous improvement projects and supporting the introduction of new projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate in the development of quality and support documentation to production processesAssist in continuous improvement processPrepare support documentation with the results of the testing phase and Quality documentation for new productsSupport the development of the machines specificationsAssist in planning of new or modified production process.Testing and evaluating production process to achieve stable result.Help with the machinery installation and qualification process.

QUALIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS:

Degree or Master Degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field or proven experience (mandatory)Problem Solving knowledge (5W;Ishikawa;PDCA;8D) (valued)Knowledge of quality toolsFamiliarity with Material science and various ferrous and non-ferrous metalsExposure to Brazing Methods (preferred)Professional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills requiredMust have intermediate level software skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Good English language skills (spoken and written)Proficiency level Portuguese (spoken and written)
