Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking an Professional Level Civil Engineer in a client-facing role to assist in design and construction of municipal water and wastewater projects for our Florida clients.

Responsibilities Performs civil engineering work for projects related to water and wastewater treatment, storage and conveyance facilitiesAssist in developing civil engineering plans including site layout, yard piping, paving, grading, and stormwater managementSupport the civil engineering team with preparation of specifications, technical memoranda, cost estimates, and reportsAssists with preparation of permits and coordination with regulatory agenciesAssists in fulfilling contract obligations and maintaining strong client relationships Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering Strong understanding of civil engineering practices including principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design4 -8 years of directly-relevant civil engineering experience Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on small to large projects of a moderately complex nature.Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire date.Strong verbal and written communication skillsHighly motivated, articulate, and self-starting Preferred Qualifications Experience with local utility codes and utility permitting processFamiliarity with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations/modeling software for stormwater management (StormWise™, InfoSWMM, HEC-RAS).Master’s degree in Civil Engineering Other Compensation and BenefitsCarollo is committed to providing employees with a competitive, comprehensive benefits program that provides the care employees and their families need to lead healthy, productive lives.
