Note that the job advert will be removed on the indicated "end date" found on top of the advert. **What does the job involve?** Responsible for developing and implementing technical- and operational solutions, optimizing and monitoring the quality, safety, and efficiency, of mechanical systems used in energy production and processing systems (including but not limited to Static Mechanical Equipment and Valves, Piping, etc). Governance shall be based on technical and professional standards and relevant industry best practices, supported by state-of-the-art systems, processes, methods and tools to support decision making processes. You are utilizing your knowledge to independently solve complex tasks with a short-term operational or tactical impact/risk. You deliver on tasks defined by others (and potentially partly defined by you) with significant impacts on team objectives. You independently communicate within the immediate team, across different areas, and towards key stakeholders, including partners or external parties. You may navigate potentially conflicting agendas. You adhere to established procedures and identify as well as resolve challenges. You proactively seek continuous improvement, embrace change and ambiguity, You demonstrate flexibility to adopt new activities and ways of working, and take ownership of your own work.​ ​You follow and comply with safety, ethics, and compliance requirements and align with leadership expectations and company values. **What will my tasks be?** Within this position, your key tasks will be to: • Work in a highly competent and interdisciplinary technical team in close proximity to an exciting facility under development. • Follow up and monitor the technical condition of relevant equipment and systems, and implement improvements or end-of-life replacements. • Set the framework for how equipment should be operated and maintained. •Develop and support safe technical solutions, operation and maintain systems, technologies, and work processes within Mechanical technology under minimal guidance. •Assist in development, integrity and implementation of technology and technical solutions in projects fulfilling scientific, engineering and safety standards under minimal guidance. •Assist in formulation and execution of activity plans. •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist in identification of root causes of problems, and implementation of corrective actions. •Collaborate across multiple operations, project development and research/technology development teams to identify and evaluate new methods, and guide, for operational excellence, reduction of cost and environmental footprint. •Assist in continuous improvement initiatives within Mechanical technology. •Provide technical expertise and guidance to other professionals. **Here's what we expect from you:** At Equinor, there are some overall qualities we regard as essential. And for this specific position, we are also looking for: · Bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines (working experience may compensate for formal education). · Minimum 3 years of experience within static mechanical discipline. · Experience working with pipes, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, valves and/or fitness for service evaluations. · Ability to collaborate across departments and disciplines requiring good communication and interpersonal skills. · You work systematically to identify risks and take ownership of ensuring that this is handled in a safe manner. · Fluency in written and spoken English or Norwegian. **What can we offer you?** We want you to have a rewarding and fulfilling work life.
