 Job Description:

\n

Conduent Community Health Solutions, an innovative public health technology and services company, seeks a full-time Consulting Services Project Coordinator to support the consulting services division to provide public health services to a variety of healthcare and government professionals. In addition to the specifics listed below, the primary role of the Project Coordinator is to provide a Public Health Copy Editor function within the Consulting team. This individual will ensure that all written professional content developed by the team on behalf of our clients is accurate in language, style, and content. They are also responsible for fact-checking, proofreading, and editing text and data visuals, while maintaining the scientific/academic/professional integrity of the piece. This role will also support other core department functions such as client engagement activities and project support for Public Health Consultants as needed. This position is a remote position with varied opportunities for collaboration within the team and across other departments.

Skills and Responsibilities

\n\n Ensure accessibility and approachability of content for a broader audience, while maintaining academic and/or scientific arguments \n Report writing and formatting: \n \n Editing documents such as Community Health Needs Assessment reports produced on behalf of our clients for grammar, style, and citation accuracy. \n Maintain clarity, coherence, consistency, and correctness in copy development.\n Assist with developing ideas for content. \n \n Assisting with quality assurance process for project deliverables:    \n \n Maintain Conduent, Conduent HCI, and client writing standards and style guides.\n Actively engage with the Consulting team, clients, and designers for the development of copy \n Provide support for technical, style, correlation, as well as substantive editing as well as design layout prep when necessary. \n \n Providing logistical support for customer webinars, conferences, and projects \n\n

Job Requirements 

\n\n Education: A bachelor’s degree in English, communications, publishing, marketing, media, public health, health advocacy, social work, or something similar \n Previous experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working in the community development, public health, and/or social work field preferred. \n A thorough knowledge of the English language (written and spoken) \n Experience with academic and/or scientific writing. \n Technology: Experience using MS Teams and design products such as InDesign and Piktochart \n
