Professional Services Consultant 1 - ERP - Finance

Our unprecedented growth has created a number of new opportunities across the company.  Currently, we are looking to delight our customers by hiring a Professional Services ERP Consultant, Finance who has experience implementing solutions & solving complex problems for our ERP clients. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact in a fast growth organization.    

The ERP Consultant, Finance will work with client accounting and finance teams. The ERP Consultant, Finance will be responsible for working to establish the client General Ledger (GL) within ERP and perform business process and configurations activities for Budgeting. The consultant is critical in ensuring in each client configuration in how transactions are processed from all the operational areas to fees to the GL. This consultant will be responsible for documenting business requirements for clients financial reporting. They will work with the analyst to ensure that all transactions map appropriately and postings are accurate.  The consultant will also work with client to establish business processes for key financial processes such as close of books, yearly roll-over.  The role will be the main liaison between the Treasurer and will be responsible for configurating Financial Institutions. 

Essential Job Responsibilities  

Lead, own and manage client implementations and lead requirements gathering, business analysis, system configuration, testing, and training   Extract, analyze and assess client business needs and workflows; make consultative recommendations.   Responsible for the delivery of client deliverables and business process documentation.  Understand client expectations and client requirements when the project begins.  Work cross-functionally with project management and other teams members to ensure cohesive delivery.  Set up and configure client’s workflows (business processes), security roles and rights, etc. per requirements and system administration  Recommend best practices to clients based on product capabilities and business process workflows  Provide technical expertise and training to   Maintain up-to-date system knowledge through product enhancements, changes, and defect fixes.  Researches, analyzes, develops, and recommends processes and procedures to improve the customer's overall experience.  Skilled in facilitating change management, providing guidance to organization leaders rolling out a new system and process  Ability to lead independently large, strategic accounts  Handle escalations and tough, complex client problems  Ability to be cross trained on a variety of Frontline Education solutions.

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s Degree or higher   Previous experience successfully managing large, complex multiple clients simultaneously with minimal supervision.  7+ years serving customers with experience in ERP and financial background in general ledger, accounting and financial reporting.   Technical proficiency, solution mindset, communication and organizational skills are top strengths.  Strong analytical skills, data management and reporting capabilities  Prior K12 or Higher Education experience (preferred)  May require client travel
