Enghouse Networks provides highly skilled technical personnel that are well versed in both Installation and Engineering practices. The overall goal is to provide an elite level of Customer Support working directly with our end customers and partners.
The Enghouse Networks Professional Services Engineer who will support the Dialogic product line (Control Switch, Bordenet SBC Session Border Controller, MGWs) will work closely with other internal Departments and Enghouse end customers daily.
This is a remote role reporting to the Manager, Operations (Americas)
Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support and Product Trial Support
Coordinating with our Sales and the Project Management Team the PSE Team would:
Assist or lead in New Product Trials of the Dialogic product line: SBC (focused) + Control Switch, MGWs Assist or lead in the Onsite or Remote Installation and Commissioning Assist or lead in the execution of Test Plan and Documenting the Results Assist with various Pre-Sales Support Actions, Sales meetings, RFPsNew PO Project Deployment Installation, Commissioning, Acceptance Testing and Professional Services Deliveries Participate in new project Kick Off meetings Act as the Lead Technical point of contact for assigned projects Lead or Assist the Project Technical Planning Lead or Assist the Technical Documentation of the project both for planning, documentation and “As Built” documents for future handover to Maintenance Support Lead or Assist in the Onsite or Remote Installation and Commissioning of the Dialogic product line: SBC (focused) + Control Switch, MGWs Lead or Assist in the Acceptance Testing completion Lead or Assist in any Professional Services for daily operation support purchased Lead or Assist in any Professional Services for traffic migrations purchased Complete internal lab testing as may be required for MOP development Participate in periodic project meetings
Training Delivery Deliver Product Training courses for the Dialogic product line: SBC (focused) + Control Switch, MGWs Training includes preparation for delivery the courses and review of all training material Training may be requested Onsite or Remotely, utilizing Enghouse Internal VM and AWS Labs
Maintenance Support
The Deployment Professional Services engineer may be asked to:
Assist the Maintenance MSE team with supporting troubleshooting Maintenance Tickets, SBC Audits Assist in documenting and creating new product Defects and feature requests Complete internal lab testing as may be required for Maintenance Troubleshooting purposes
Qualifications & Experience:
BS in Computer Science or Related Field or Equivalent Technical Training and Work Experience. The Ideal Candidate with A Minimum Of 5 Years’ Experience in Designing, Implementing and Supporting Voice Telephony Deployments (Traditional TDM And VoIP) With Both Vendor Experience and Service Provider Background. Prior SBC and C4 Soft Switch experience is necessary.
Job requires prior SBC product experience and expertise, with Class 4 and Class 5 Switching Environment knowledge. Strong Skills In SIP, SIP Call Tracing, TDM, TDM Call tracing, SS7, ISDN, TCP/IP And VoIP Protocols (SIP &H.323) Strong Customer Relations Skills Are Required Ability to Travel US and International if requested (<50% Travel) Bilingual (Spanish), highly desired Legally eligible to work in the country without employer sponsorship
