Professional Services Manager – Resource Management
Summit Search Group is seeking a Professional Services Manager for their client to lead their external customer-facing Professional Services practice within Saskatchewan. This role is responsible for driving profitability, managing vendor relationships, and supporting sales teams in delivering high-quality services to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Lead and manage staff to ensure effective utilization of HR resources while fostering a productive environment that promotes innovation and teamwork. Financial Management: Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, ensuring financial control and accountability within the practice. Customer Engagement: Maintain relationships with external vendors and partners to deliver services that align with company objectives. Ensure successful management of customer engagements, particularly with third-party resources. Sales Support: Provide direction and consulting to sales teams regarding the sale and delivery of Professional Services. Assist in developing strategies to achieve revenue targets. Technical Oversight: Serve as a technical leader for the Professional Services portfolio, responsible for technical qualifications and quality assurance of sales proposals and contracts. Analysis and Improvement: Regularly analyze performance, gathering feedback to enhance service delivery and pricing models.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science, with 10-15 years of relevant business experience. Proven experience in a professional services organization and managing delivery teams. Expertise in IT talent recruitment and developing customer proposals and contracts. Strong background in negotiating contracts with vendors, partners, and consultants. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Knowledge of business product and service offerings is an asset.Essential Management Skills:
