Professional Services Operations Senior Manager - Charles River Development

What we are looking for

The Professional Services (PS) Operations Senior Manager reports to the Global Head of Professional Services Operations and will be responsible for management and oversight of operational functions related to Time Tracking & Project Management, Month End Close, Client Statement of Work, and Rate Card in support of Professional Services’ ability to deliver at scale while meeting ambitious growth objectives.

CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created the first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

What you will be responsible for

Support the Head of PS Operations in driving efficiency, scalability and risk excellence across Professional Services operations in alignment with broader strategic goals, including but not limited to:

Drive Successful Outcomes – support the Head of PS Operations with key strategic and tactical initiatives, collaborate and coordinate across the broader Professional Services organization, as well as other functional partners.  Risk Excellence – evolve, operate and execute business processes and controls to effectively and efficiently manage business risks.  This includes, but is not limited to, Audit (internal and external), Regulatory, Business Risk Management and Organizational Transformation.Continuous Improvement – identify and evaluate business problems, support the design and implementation of actionable recommendations, and track success metrics as you define, codify, and build new processes and programs to reduce spend/leakage and generate efficiencies; andManagement Communications/Reporting – optimize use of Oracle NetSuite OpenAir, a professional services resource management application, including data & process design, controls, monitoring and reporting, including: go-live tracking, overage management, month end close, quarterly business review, and any ad-hoc reporting.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years job related/industry experience in financial services is required; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent is desirableExperience matrix managing people across multiple jurisdictions and time zonesDemonstrated ability to define and execute functional strategy using a data driven, risk-based approachThorough understanding of billing and revenue recognition protocols for SaaS business, the financial close process, risk, controls and auditExceptional interpersonal and influence skills. Experience driving cross-functional projects end-to-end and effectively interacting with executive and senior managementStrong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skillsStrategic, structured thinker. Strong analytical skills and business acumen. Aptitude for framing business questions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and implementing process improvementsResults-driven self-starter with the ability to multitask. Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment with a “can do” attitude and growth mindsetMust have ability to navigate multiple competing priorities and timely escalate issues/risksDemonstrated experience with relational databases including Oracle and MS SQLProficiency in NetSuite OpenAir, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word required

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $185,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
