UPMC Hamot is hiring a casual Professional Staff Nurse to join the Infusion Center!
The UPMC Hamot Infusion Center team is looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to excel in a close-knit, team-oriented environment.
This position is casual, minimum of 16 hours per pay period. Daylight shift, no holidays or weekends.
Title and Salary will be determined based upon education and experience.
Responsibilities:

Identifies and addresses clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual issues. Communicates patient conditions effectively to other care providers. Ensures comprehensive patient documentation. Incorporates professional and organizational goals to improve patient safety and satisfaction. Builds healing relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. Engages in professional development to improve practice and patient care quality. Participates in shared governance and goal setting. Supports change processes to improve care quality. Engages fully as a care team partner. Participates in quality improvement efforts. Identifies and communicates quality improvement opportunities. Takes responsibility for improving patient satisfaction. Utilizes research and evidence-based practice for clinical care improvements. Discusses quality improvement opportunities at multidisciplinary rounds. Influences patient care plans. Performs in accordance with system-wide competencies/behaviors. Performs other duties as assigned.
