Program Accounting Clerk

OLV Human Services is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Program Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team. Job Summary:

The Program Accounting Clerk is responsible for maintaining and recording resident account activity within Personal Allowance Accounts (PAA) and RealPage in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

Pay:

$18.85 - $25.14/hour, based on applicable years of experience

Essential Job Duties:

Review and record PAA deposits and disbursements in the general ledger. Review and process PAA spending requests and recurring payments. Maintain all debit cards; open, close, and transfer funds, as necessary. Transfer funds for monthly Room & Board, SNAP, and other payments. Maintain HUD tenant activity in RealPage to ensure HUD compliance.  Review bank activity, prepare deposits, open and close accounts, as necessary. Prepare and distribute reports to program and finance staff. Communicate with Social Security, HUD, and other benefit sources as required. Participate in and support representative payee and HUD reviews. Maintain vendor listing. All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

High School Diploma + 2 years Accounting Experience or Associate’s Degree + 1 year Accounting Experience

Prior experience with representative payee accounts or HUD reporting preferred.
