Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. + Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures. + Verify data by comparing it to source documents. + Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities, and checking output. + Assist with managing the issuance of all transaction documentation including checking quote(s)/binder(s)/policy(ies) for accuracy per CRC guidelines, premium audits and endorsement issuance. + Assist with the setup & calculation of premium audits based on carrier guidelines and client data + Manage incoming calls from producers and companies. + Communicate policy changes, premium audits and related endorsements to markets. + Maintain clear records of invoicing premiums and tracking outstanding funds. + Maintain detailed files by uploading and organizing electronic paperwork/correspondence. + Maintain good working relationships with carriers and clients. + Maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry through regular attendance at workshops, seminars, and/or continuing education. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE** The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. + Bachelor’s Degree with Accounting/Finance focus preferred, or equivalent office experience in an administrative role. + Minimum 3 years’ experience within the fields of Insurance, accounting/finance or business. **CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS** + Current state specific insurance license required within 6 months of hire. **FUNCTIONAL SKILLS** + Wholesale brokerage experience preferred but not necessary. + Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications such as MS Excel and Word. + Possess a keen attention to detail with strong analytical, numeracy and organizational skills. + Exceptionally self-motivated, with the ability to review information, make decisions, and manage time effectively with minimal to no supervision. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work well independently or in a team environment. + Ability to plan, organize, manage multiple priorities, and re-establish priorities in workflow as business needs change. + The ability to develop technical understanding of Property/Casualty coverages and manuscript forms. **General Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of TIH Insurance:** All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of TIH Insurance offering the position.
