Program Administrator - Emergency Management

**This position is full-time (Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm) and** **partially remote** **.** **The selected candidate may only work remote** **days** **from a New England state (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI).**
Under the direction of the Manager, Public Safety & Emergency Management, the incumbent supports the Institute’s Emergency Management program. This position supports all aspects of Emergency Management including mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery for the Institute. Responsibilities will include project management, stakeholder engagement and management, process and workflow definition, and data analysis and reporting.

+ In support of the overall emergency management program, works directly with satellite leadership to implement emergency preparedness program and develops planning on responsibilities at satellite campuses.
+ Supports the Emergency Preparedness Committee, including sub-committees, as it maintains and tests emergency management plans
+ Collaborates with joint venture hospital’s emergency management teams and community emergency management partners to align program initiatives and response activities; and ensure compliance with service agreements
+ Analyzes and evaluates post incident performance, makes recommendations, and takes corrective action as necessary to promote effective response
+ Works with team to ensure emergency management program compliance with regulatory and training requirements, including audits, as necessary.
+ Conducts emergency tabletop exercises and full-scale drills as required by regulatory governing bodies and ensure all Institutional drills and exercises are complete and well documented.
+ Provides coordination for Institute’s executive clinical oversight leaders on pandemic surge and recovery activities
+ Represent the program at various committees with community partners including but not limited to Mass General Brigham, the Conference of Boston Teaching Hospitals, Boston Public Health Commission, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, etc.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) certification preferred.
+ Minimum of two years of experience in emergency preparedness, and/or security/public safety,
+ Completion of ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:**
+ Experience with NIMS/HICS
+ Strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Proficient knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Zoom, Adobe.
+ Knowledge of trends, issues, and accepted practices relevant to the position.
+ Excellent attention to detail skills
+ Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with peers, leadership, and external contacts.
+ Must possess the ability to problem solve with minimal guidance, maintain confidentiality, and pay excellent attention to detail.
+ Excellent ability to organize, prioritize and follow-through.
+ Ability to apply independently a wide variety of policies/procedures where specified guidelines may not exist.
+ Willingness and ability to be on call for emergency response.
+ Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold privacy policies
