Job Title Program Aide Agency Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service Department 4-H Youth Development Proposed Minimum Salary $15.00 hourly Job Location College Station, Texas Job Type Temporary/Casual Staff (Fixed Term) Job Description Job Description Summary The Program Aide works with the Path to the Plate program, an initiative of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. The goal of Path to the Plate is to provide a connection between agriculture and health for consumers. This is done through the creation of print, online, video, and curriculum resources. Responsibilities + Provides support for the Path to the Plate program and any supplemental programs supporting the Path to the Plate goal. + Produces information by inputting, formatting, editing, retrieving, copying and transmitting text, data, and graphics. + Designs brochures, flyers, newsletters, posters, and other printed materials for educational programs. + Coordinates with printing companies to produce large quantities of printed educational materials and resources. + Coordinates meetings and preparations for meetings, which includes virtual calendar invites, virtual room setup, assembly of materials and processing paperwork for payment of meeting expenses. Ships supplies to meeting locations when needed. Provides on-site support when needed. + Creates digital content, publications, and documents, along with other general office duties. + Works with supervisors, administrators, subject matter specialists, county Extension agents, and others to develop necessary resources for programs. + Performs other duties as required. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: + Self-motivated and organized with excellent oral and written communication skills. + Ability to establish effective working relationships with internal and external partners. + Proficient in MS Word products (Word, Publisher, Excel), Adobe Creative Suite Products (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop), and Canva online design program. + Must also be proficient in videography and video editing. Other Requirements: + Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. + Occasional travel. All positions are security-sensitive.
