Job Description Summary
The Program Aide – Course Editor & Reviewer is responsible for supporting the development of classroom, hybrid, or online courses.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborates with instructional design staff to review and edit online, blended, and web-enhanced courses.
+ Evaluates course materials for quality control, functionality, and accessibility.
+ Assists with accessibility-related course development tasks, such as captioning, writing alt text, and remediating PDFs.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor's in Education or similar field.
+ Experience with copyediting.
+ Experience in making online material accessible.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
+ Attention to detail.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others and/or independently.
