PROGRAM ANALYST
Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Ocean Engineering Department of PSNS and IMF. Salary Range GS-11: $81,242 - $105,612 GS-12: $97,376 - $126,585 Responsibilities You will oversee and administer recruiting and on-boarding actions for the Department and manage employee development activities associated with recruitment and new hire orientation. You will manage operations associated with the recruitment, selection, and hiring for new employees to include organizing recruitment events, coordinating recruitment site visits, and tracking and projecting manning needs. You will plan, organize and manage Department recruitment efforts to meet the forecasted workforce needs. You will provide management support for employee career development associated with the planning, organizing, and execution of initial training programs. You will coordinate and conduct studies and analysis to provide efficient improvements in recruiting. You will use qualitative and quantitative techniques to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of employment operations, employee development and career growth. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-12 Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of department employment operations, employee development and career growth by coordinating recruiting events and site visits, identifying potential candidate sources, and conducting studies to meet forecasted workforce needs. GS 11 Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying analytical and evaluative techniques in administering recruiting and on-boarding actions for a department to include organizing recruiting events, maintaining contact with incoming new employees, coordinating orientation and training for the new hire, assisting with studies, and providing management support to meet forecasted workforce needs.
