Title:

Program Analyst

Program Analyst to provide direct support to the Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense (M-SHORAD) Product Office leadership team.  Must possess an extensive knowledge of DOD 5000 acquisition, policies, and regulations to develop detailed plans, goals, and objectives for short-range and long-range program operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Advise and offer recommendations in the development of strategy and plans, including development of briefings and Information Papers, support to the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, engineering support, and integrating and synchronizing the efforts for the Next Generation Short Range Interceptor.  Routinely develops short range interceptor work products for the Product Manager to include informational and decision briefings, budget and program analyses, contract requirements packages, integrated schedules and plans, information papers, and organizational strategies for mission accomplishment.Apply a wide range of analytical methods to assess and evaluate the status and effectiveness of programs.Evaluate developmental products / programs / systems for manufacturability, usability, and maintainability.Plans the execution of and coordinates responses to internal and external taskers.Participate in weekly Program meetings as required, track action items to closure from meetings, and maintain a program calendar with input from multiple stakeholders.Participate in Integrated Project Team (IPT) meetings, review contractor deliverables, and provide engineering analysis to government customers.Provide direct input to, and be an active participant in, solving issues involving diverse staff, stakeholders, and resources.Must possess excellent attention-to-detail as well as good decision-making skills and be able to work independently with minimal direction/oversight.Must possess the ability and personal skills to effectively communicate and interact with various management levels on a routine basis.
