PROGRAM ANALYST
Summary This National Guard position is for a PROGRAM ANALYST, Position Description Number T5115000 and is part of the NJ HRO AR, National Guard. The primary purpose of this position is to plan, analyze and/ or evaluate the effectiveness of line or operating programs. Responsibilities As a PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-9, you will: Manage the evaluation program. Assist in the development of directives. Identify problems, reviews production standard. Conduct studies of work processes and procedures. Recommend internal reporting and status tracking procedures. Review reports and studies to ensure that user requirements are met. Analyze evaluation results on both a quantitative and qualitative basis. Evaluate the effectiveness of substantive unit programs and processes. Develop process, management, administrative, and technical evaluation plans. Requirements Conditions of Employment Additional Employment Requirements: -Participation in direct deposit is mandatory -May be required to successfully complete a probationary period -Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation -Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service Area of Consideration: CAT 7: Current Federal Employees and Applicants eligible for Re-employment including Temporary Technicians Qualifications GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience in the following: Using of computers and automation systems Interpreting process and principles of management Developing, analyzing, and evaluating all administrative and technical issues SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 24 months of specialized experience in the following: Analyzing and interpret policies and the procedures Presenting and discuss complex matters in a clear and convincing manner Communicating with people from various backgrounds and circumstances Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques Education There are no education requirements for this vacancy announcement Additional Information THIS IS AN INDEFINITE POSITION: This position lasts for an unknown or unstated length of time and is not Permanent, but may become Permanent.
