Program Analyst

Amentum is seeking a Program/Financial Analyst to join our engineering team in Washington, DC.
**Program/Financial Analyst Responsibilities Include:**
+ Performing program analyst and financial support for Navy programs.
+ Supporting programmatic meetings, manage program action items, support tracking of financial tasking in support of the program.
+ Interfacing with internal functional teams and external customers for planning, prioritization, and issue resolution of overall activities in the support and achievement of customer goals.
+ Interacting with and advises customers by applying specific program knowledge and/or subject matter expertise in the execution of routine and non-routine financial planning tasks.
+ Interacting and providing technical assessment to customers, through the application of specific program knowledge and subject matter expertise, in the execution of program management and financial tasks.
+ Analyzing funding requirements, interface with other professionals to generate program documentation such as financial plans, schedules, briefings, reports, correspondence, contracts/contract modifications, technical instructions/procedures and/or related material.
+ Analyzing and tracking project budgets, schedules and deliverables, conduct research into specific areas, prepare findings and report findings to the customer.
+ Creating and maintain master files/schedules related to program history, execution and status for the life of the program (inception to disposal).
+ Reviewing, analyzing, providing comments, and providing assessments of technical and non-technical program financial reports; research specific areas and prepare findings.
+ Interfacing with internal and external principal program participants for planning, prioritization and resolution of overall funding activities to support customer goals.
+ Performing all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Five (5) years of work-related experience demonstrating a technical understanding and ability to prepare complex and detailed technical documents and reports; OR, three (3) years of specialized experience in: financial planning, budgeting and execution of project funds for allocation purposes; integrated management schedule (IMS) development and tracking for planning and budgeting; coordination of task planning, schedule development and task execution for DoD and Navy programs and projects.
+ Skill set requires demonstrating both a comprehensive knowledge of software applications and best business practices along with a high degree of skill in applying software functions necessary to prepare complex and detailed documents utilizing the Microsoft (MS) Office suite of products.
+ Experience in processing complex and lengthy technical reports that include tables, graphs, charts, or multiple columns, participating in Technical Progress and Design Reviews and program technical meetings, and providing status and inputs to technical reports, white papers and meetings.
+ Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
**Preferred Qualifications include:**
+ Experience with Navy ERP and Government Contracting.
**Compensation & Benefits**
HIRING SALARY RANGE: $60,000 - $90,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
