Responsibilities You will lead integration efforts for configuration management, system engineering acquisition life cycle process and various documentations repository applications. You will work with users and stakeholders to gather requirements for application/tool sets for easy access of drawings, documentations, plans, and engineering artifacts. You will cross discipline experience in user requirements gathering to execute configuration management and data management planning. You will utilize knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and Modeling of Configuration Management application models for weapon system or "system of system". You will provide System Engineering life cycle acquisition process from concept Refinement through Disposal. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing the integration of technical documentation repositories to centralize access, enhance search capabilities, or streamline configuration management, ensuring efficient retrieval and use of critical technical data. Education Additional Information This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-4 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. This announcement uses the Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) Business Management & Technical Management direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This position is part of the Navy Nuclear Deterrent Mission. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
