Program Analyst Associate
 

Job Description

Performs a variety of administrative and analytical tasks in support of a contract program.

Develops plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program.

Participates in establishing and defining program plan requirements.

Monitors and reports performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements.

Daily correspondence with waterfront personnel to ensure all requests are handled in a timely manner.

Project monitoring, reporting, continuous program/project analysis.

Develop plans and monitors tasks to meet contractual/project requirements for assigned program.

Research and analyze functions for tracking and financial forecasting.

Procurement planning, sending RFP/RFQs, preparing price analysis considering all data and determine factors that affect price and determine lowest cost to meet required schedules

Distribute purchase request and all required information to buyer

Assist management with monitoring the activities and productivity of subordinates.

In conjunction with Finance, ensure vendors costs are correctly recorded and allocated in the company’s financial accounting system and forecasts.

Verify and approve subcontractor invoices.

May perform business development activities.

Participates in special projects as required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 0+ years of experience. Military experience and knowledge of shipyard availability is a plus.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $27.42 - $37.10. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
