The Program Analyst – Coordination & Space Logistics may be required report onsite at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Washington, D.C. Headquarters. Responsibilities Support the Space and logistics of the Office of the Under Secretary. These activities will encompoass managing the space platform Archibus utilized capture space assignment of the organization across multiple floor plans within the headquarters office of the U.S. Department of Transportation. This will require communication, understanding of policies impacting space, reporting and tracking. Support logistics around logistics associated with the operations and management of space and other operational activities. Support outreach activities performed by the organization related to program partnering, information sharing and recruitment. These activities will be designed to engage audiences for various reasons such as to bring knowledge and expertise on a particular topic to the public, specific transportation groups, and organizations. These outreach activities will take the form of social media, presentations, workshops, public talks, and participation in visits such as job fairs. Other duties as assigned Qualifications 2+ years’ experience applying progressively responsible and in-depth Administrative and Project Management principles, concepts, and practices. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of administrative process as it relates to Space coordination and logistics for a large organization over 250 people. Knowledge of programs related to capturing building architecture programs related to space. • General knowledge of federal standards for space coordination. Conducting research on outreach needs, trends, and issues. Promoting awareness of the organizational goals, activities, or events through various methods such as Agency internal media, communicating organizational job opportunities via social media or visits . Coordinating with other organizations that share similar goals or interests to collaborate on projects or events. Organizing community events such as workshops or organizing program members of our organization hosting or visiting groups to educate about the Department’s agenda or bring notice to a specific topic.
