GENERAL FUNCTION

This role is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the OneSight Essilor Luxottica Foundation North America (the “Foundation”) in Canada. This individual is accountable for the fiscal, fundraising, marketing and programmatic initiatives in Canada and ensuring that the Foundation continues to strengthen and evolve to work toward its ambition to eliminate poor vision in a generation. The Program Manager will work closely with key stakeholders and Foundation team, as well as coordinate with the respective functional teams within North America to help eliminate barriers to vision care, raise critical funds, and otherwise maximize the impact of the Foundation’s work and for continually elevating and protecting the OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation brand in Canada.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the Foundation’s operations and act as the Foundation’s primary point of contact within Canada Coordinate and execute high quality, cost-efficient, impactful and effective programs and events within Canada that prioritize the Foundation’s objectives, including vision clinic/s, indirect programs (e.g. vision vouchers, sun/reader or outreach donations) fundraisers, and engagement/volunteer opportunities and similar activities and coordinate communications promoting the same Recruit and manage a team of volunteers, providing leadership and guidance, and fostering a productive, mission-driven culture Establish credibility and trust as an effective partner and collaborator within Foundation team as well as throughout EssilorLuxottica (leaders, divisions and employees) and Board, vision industry and non-profit sector Assist with and maintain the Foundation’s financials, including building and monitoring the budget, preparing reports, ensuring sound financial controls are in place, and maintaining a healthy financial state for the Foundation Oversee the governance aspects of the organization, including maintaining knowledge of and operating in accordance with local Canadian legal, financial, regulatory and other standards for non-profits, ensuring proper visibility and understanding of key matters and documentation of the Foundation, coordinating and communicating with EssilorLuxottica legal, facilitating filings, registrations and corporate record keeping, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and at least seven (7) or more years’ experience within a not-for-profit or optical sector Experience forging alliances and maintaining successful relationships with sponsoring organizations (e.g. EssilorLuxottica) and collaboration partners Effective spokesperson who can inspire internal and external stakeholders and build awareness by delivering the story of the mission and impact in a compelling way across different audiences to successfully drive value adding results Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills Ability to effectively articulate Foundation’s mission and message Ability to work autonomously across multiple projects SAP, Salesforce, Word and Excel proficiency A deep commitment and passion for improving the lives of the underserved and shares our belief that good vision is a basic human right and that all people should have access to proper vision care. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
