Program and Financial Controls SME
Kearney & Company is seeking a Program and Financial Controls SME to join our team! Job duties are as followed but not limited to: Solicit, validate, and document information systems requirements in support of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) Reform efforts Conduct dataset quality control during system sunsetting and migration Facilitate configuration control; help manage a configuration control board Analyze historical budget data and exhibits to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern for budget structure and justification Apply understanding of funds distribution and reprogramming to the electronic tracking of funds through the budget lifecycle Develop requirements for integrating multiple legacy information systems, ensuring data consistency within and between systems Collaborate with budget stakeholders, including component budget officers and program managers, to ensure the budget and associated justification are aligned with organizational goals and objectives Develop Standard Operating Procedures for recurring processes Prepare status reports for senior management and stakeholders Qualifications BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university Minimum 7 years of relevant experience Willing to work onsite at the Pentagon daily Must possess a Secret clearance Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly with pivot tables and other advanced features of Excel Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Must have outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders across DoD Must have experience in managing customer expectations and working directly with customers Excellent writing skills and the ability to quickly deliver quality written products in constrained time periods Demonstrated motivation and initiative Preferred Qualifications: Extensive experience in translating stakeholder requirements into executable solutions Ability to multi-task across multiple projects Experience with DoD budget and/or financial management systems e.g. NGRMS, B2A, CIS, or similar DoD or other Federal budget experience Certified Defense Financial Manager KCO1701 #LI-MA1 Overview Exclusively focused on the Government, Kearney & Company provides financial services, including auditing, consulting, and technology services. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
