Program Assistant, Experiential Learning HUB

This position supports the VTOP Institutional Grant for Capacity Building, which will aid UVA Wise in becoming more effective in serving internal and external audiences of experiential learning.

General Duties:

Provide administrative support to members of the Experiential Learning HubAssist students who are seeking experiential learning opportunities on or off campusAssist students, faculty, staff and community partners with GivePulse platformTrack and report activity and outcomes, including survey creation and distributionAssist with assessment of reflections for experiential learningSchedule events and marketing programs that raise awareness of experiential learningAssist in establishing new avenues for institutional funding and support

This position will also enhance the professional development of our student population through experiential pathway support:

Professional development programming for student interns on and off campus with the purpose of developing NACE competences for entry-level roles by graduation   Expansion of the Peer Leader program to include faculty-led opportunities in the form of teaching and research assistantsShort-term, paid project support for local employers and alumni, through a student collective focused on work-based learning

Additional Details:

Salary is $35,000In-person, student-facing role
