Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Assistant for the Office of Education and Academic Affairs for the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Shares administrative responsibility for the operation of areas within the Office of Education and Academic Affairs; Supports programming related to the curriculum, student affairs, and faculty development. Supports medical school pathway programs.

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Manages calendars and schedules meetings for core educators in the Office of Education and Academic Affairs and the faculty administrators in the Office of Education and Academic Affairs. Handles logistics for events, meetings, workshops including room booking, food orders, advertising for events. Supports the various projects to do with medical student experience, student research opportunities, curriculum, and faculty development, including developing and maintaining a student experience database. Maintains, updates, and improves the Office of Education and Academic Affairs website pages. Under supervisor oversight, prepares minutes for the faculty meetings, provides support for faculty elections and faculty committees such as the Faculty Council, Nominations & Elections Committee, & Rules & Procedures Committee. Provides support for the pathway programs run by the office of special academic programs or the office of admissions at the medical school. Develops knowledge of all the functions of the Office to be a resource for faculty, students, and staff.
