Our work depends on a Program Coordinator joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.HOW A PROGRAM COORDINATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACTThe Program Coordinator position is a unique position that:Manages and supports various events, programs and projects both on and offsite. Performs a variety of administrative duties by assisting visitors, guests and customers by providing general information, tours and assisting onsite personnel Interfaces with customers, subcontractors and other GDIT employees.Schedules meetings, manages calendars and books conference rooms.
Contributes to the completion of programs and projects
Develops solutions to problems
Performs minor equipment checks to maintain operability
Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to programs and projects
Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology and works with management to evolve current processes

As a Program Coordinator you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.The Program Coordinator is an independent and enthusiastic go-getter working strategically across a portfolio of programs to:Manage administrative duties to support corporate opportunities and events by:Managing conference room calendars/schedulesSupporting visitors, customers, and guests while onsite by providing information, answering questions, providing tours, and enhancing customer and onsite experienceIdentifies opportunities to enhance the business areaSupport onsite and offsite events, to include but not limited to:Coordinating the eventAttending the event and serving as key personnel while present by providing demos, information, answering information and soliciting feedbackLead presentationsRemain abreast of new employees, as well as employees that are departingWith this awareness, create and manage systems to ensure new and leaving employees are updated in various databasesComplete minor and routine equipment and technology checks to maintain operabilityEngage with existing and new vendors – plan requirements, schedule events, define agendaFacilitate conference demonstrations, travel, organization preparationClearly and concisely articulates needs to the team with the goal of advancing progressBuilds relationships with internal and external teamsAdd value to the team with little direction and guidanceIdentify gaps in processes, opportunities for improvement and creates plans for implementationPrioritize initiatives/requirements with little guidanceWHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Required qualification: BA/BS and 5+ years' relevant experienceEnthusiasticVery strong organizational, communication and time management skillsSelf-motivatedAdvanced level MS Office suite of toolsExperience with short- and long-range planningProcess oriented but flexible in adapting a process to meet internal needsLocation: Company SiteUS Citizenship Required
