Program Coordinator Job Details Job Location Pinellas Park - 8800 49 N 403 - Pinellas Park, FL Position Type Full Time Education Level Graduate Degree Salary Range $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 Salary/year Job Category Nonprofit - Social Services Description POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees daily program operation of the Pinellas and Pasco County DCF Court Diversion grant. This role involves supervising Mental Health Counselors, Case Managers, and Peer Support Specialists, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with grant requirements. The Program Coordinator will manage the clinical documentation processes and collaborate with team members to achieve program goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: + Provide leadership and supervision to counselors, case managers, and peer support specialists, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. + Oversee the daily operations of the program, ensuring alignment with grant objectives and organizational standards. + Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making recommendations for improvements. + Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation in accordance with grant guidelines and regulatory requirements. + Train staff on proper documentation practices and maintain compliance with all relevant policies. + Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to facilitate communication and enhance service delivery. + Assist in the preparation and submission of grant reports and documentation, ensuring all metrics and outcomes are met. + Monitor and adhere to program/grant budget(s). + Participate in community outreach and networking efforts to promote the program and build partnerships. + Monitor the systems, procedures, and standards of the program, informing the appropriate parties when deviations occur. + Monitor and adhere to program/grant budgets. + Supervise staff meetings. + Ensures acquisition of necessary documentation and timely follow up with persons served. + Acts as a liaison with external agencies, communicating verbally and in writing as needed. + Review and evaluate staff at least annually using direct observation and review of work. + Ensure existing, new, or additional programs comply with all funding criteria including, but not limited to the delivery of requisite services, compliance with restrictions, and reporting requirements. + Develop the use of other community resources in the interest of the agency and consumers. + Represent the agency, as requested, at meetings of funding agencies, governmental authorities, seminars, workshops, etc. + Monitors and assures accuracy, timeliness and consistency of data, services, and treatment plans. + Attend and participate in training activities, staff meetings, case conferences and supervisory sessions. + Ensures timeliness of reviews of persons served and submits necessary documentation to appropriate party. + Understands HIPAA, Professional Ethics, Consumer Rights and Confidentiality + Participate in performance improvement activities. + Completes all orientation and mandated training activities, including E-Learning Courses, within required timeframes, and in accordance with the criteria established for this position. + Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision and goals of WestCare Foundation. + Perform any other duties as assigned. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: + Three years of criminal justice or substance abuse experience is required. + Previous supervisory experience required. + Master’s degree required. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: + Fully licensed LCSW. LMFT, or LMHC in good standing by an agency approved and recognized by the state of Florida is required. WORKING CONDITIONS: + Work is performed in an outpatient treatment setting. Travel between all three outpatient offices in Pinellas and Pasco counties is required. + Some outdoor activities may be required . WestCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
