Program Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY:

Person in this position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the SSVF program. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Program Management:  Develop, implement, and monitor program activities to meet the needs of veterans.  Ensure all program activities are aligned with organizational goals and comply with funding requirements.  Coordinate the scheduling and facilitation of program events, workshops, and group sessions. Client Services:  Serve as a primary point of contact for program participants, providing support and addressing any concerns. Staff Supervision: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise program staff. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and high performance. Staff Coordination:  Supervise program staff, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.  Facilitate regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination among staff members.  Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Partnership and Community Engagement:  Establish and maintain relationships with community partners, including local agencies, service providers, and other stakeholders.  Represent SJVV at community events, meetings, and networking opportunities to promote the program and build partnerships. Administrative Duties:  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities, client interactions, and staff performance.  Prepare and submit reports to the Program Director and funding agencies as required.  Assist in the development and management of the program budget, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations. May provide coverage for the programs, at meetings, or community events in the absence of the Program Director. Compliance and Quality Assurance:  Ensure all program activities comply with organizational policies, funding requirements, and relevant regulations.  Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of service delivery.  Address any compliance issues promptly and effectively.
