Through this community of healers, scientists, and scholars, Rutgers is equipped as never before to transform lives. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Graduate Medical Education office at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Graduate Medical Education, provides administrative support to the Office of Graduate Medical Education and the residency and fellowship programs. .

Among the key duties of this position are the following: Serves as the liaison to the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners to ensure proper registration, permitting and licensure of residents and fellows. Works with program coordinators with required ACGME institutional requirements, such as Annual Program Evaluation, elective rotations for current housestaff or visiting residents, monitors program letters of agreement, internal resident surveys. Assists Associate Dean in planning and organizing events through GME office such as faculty/ resident development, housestaff orientation and program coordinator meetings. Oversees process for housestaff going on leave of absence, helps ensure compliance with FMLA and other relevant HR policies and procedures. Oversees onboarding of new housestaff and interacts with other departments within Rutgers and affiliate hospitals as required. Completes verification forms for 5th pathway graduates and helps direct other requests for verification of training. Oversees tracking of completion of required training/ certification/ processes for housestaff such as fit testing or advanced life support.
