Overview:\n

Semper Valens is seeking Program Analyst\/Project Coordinator to support 26th Network Operation Squadron (26th NOS) located at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Montgomery, AL. The Project Coordinator is responsible for project synchronization and requirement development support for the 26NOS mission. Work as part of an integrated government support team that is focused on the continued success of 26NOS's standardized network management and utilize the five project management process groups; Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring, and Controlling and Closing.\u202f This position also\u202fconducts AFINC program analysis and requirements tracking for the program, analyzes program requirements and formulates strategies in concert with team members to effectively and performs program management as required to implement and track requirements from initial assignment through IOC. Additionally, track schedule and performance of the requirements, maintains requirement metric and service delivery information.\u202f\n

Responsibilities:\n\nManage tasks with an integrated team (military, civilian, & contractor staff)\nManage projects from start to finish by collaborating across various customers, functions, and locations.\nAssist a team of engineers, customers, and other contractors to coordinate resources and activities across various projects.\nManage competing concurrent projects ranging from small, medium, and large or significant segment of large complex projects.\nFacilitate Projects' Implementation Plans(I-plans), schedules, and QUAD charts.\nMonitor problems and follows up with assigned personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems.\nBuild and utilize tools for managing Projects such as PowerBi, MS Projects, and Microsoft Teams.\nProvide status updates to all levels of leadership, ensuring project oversight and visibility is maintained.\nEnsure the use of best practices based on lessons learned from previous projects.\nRecommend and provide plans for system and service modernization, upgrades, and replacement activities.\nManage processes that ensure problems and action items discussed are tracked through resolution and provide timely status reporting.\nProcess and track requirements and system engineering solutions with applicable database management tools.\n\n

Qualifications\/Requirements:\n\nCandidate should have 3+ years of\u202fprogressively responsible project management experience.\nExtensive PoweBI experience managing data ingestions and graphical outputs.\nExposure to Cisco Routing and networking.\nDirect and relevant experience in information technology project coordination\nFamiliarity utilizing the five project management process groups; Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring, and Controlling and Closing.\nKnowledge\/Experience with Air Force Cyberspace operations preferred.\nAbility to grasp DoD and USAF architectures; operational, systems, and technical architectures.\nSolid organization skills, including multitasking.\nStrong customer\/client - facing and teamwork skills.\nAbility to understand the organization's goals and objectives and implement solutions to meet those goals and objectives.\nKnowledge of networking protocols and IP subnetting\nKnowledge associated with that of Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.\nExperience REMEDY preferred.\nUnderstand ITSM: configuration change management processes, release, and deployment procedures.\nMust be able to push\/pull, lift, or carry up to 50 lbs.\nMust be willing to travel up to 5% of the year, dependent on contract needs and requirements that may arise.\n\n

Education\/Certification(s):\n\nTechnical degree, Associates or, bachelor's degree in computer science\/information systems, Science\/Engineering\/Math or 2-4 years' relevant experience in Information Technology preferably within system or application administration is acceptable.\n\n\nRequires\u202fa DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level\u202fII\u202fcertification:\n\n\nCompTIA\u202fSecurity+ CE\u202f(Continuing Education)\n\n\nCompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)\u202fCE\u202f(Continuing Education)\n\n\n(ISC)\u00b2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)\n\n\nGIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)\n\n\nGIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)\n\n\n(ISC)\u00b2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)\n\n\nRequires\u202fa Computing Environment\/Operating System (CE\/OS) Defense Cyberspace Workforce Certification (DCWF) requirement(s):\n\n\nCompTIA - Project +\n\n
