Wahana Visi Indonesia is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to work and collaborate to empower the most vulnerable children, family and community through community development, advocacy, and emergency response for sustainable transformation regardless of religion, race, ethnic or gender.

Since 1998, Wahana Visi Indonesia has carried out various community development programs focusing on children. Hundred thousands of children in Indonesia have been benefited from WVI’s accompaniment program. Wahana Visi Indonesia is a trusted partner of World Vision International.

Key Responsibilities:

To support WVIndonesia’s strategic mandates to “reinforce our Christian foundation, idenitty and witness“ (SM #1),  “strengthen our grass roots field capacity and ministry” (SM #2), “be an authoritative voice at all levels driving change”  (SM #4) and “build the organization and its sustainability” (SM #5).

The Program Coordinator is responsible to support ADP team for planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluation 1 or more sector projects that contribute to the achieve of ADP Program goals.  The PC will also support the team to ensure project promotes quality, empowering and sustainable development in alignment with relevant strategies (e.g. national, sectoral, disaster preparedness plan, etc.), policies (e.g. ministry policies, child sponsorship, DME management policy, etc.) and standards (e.g. IPM, LEAP, sponsorship service, financial, etc.. ).  The PC will work in  close coordination with CDC or FP and may support one or a cluster of ADPs. The PC may be supported by National Office Sectoral Team.

Knowledge/Qualifications for the Role

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Coordinator specializing in Community Engagement and Sponsorship/Technical Programs.

Proficient in implementing operational models with partners.

Experienced in managing Field Facilitators and Sponsorship Officers.

Completed DPA and Partnering Training.

Thorough understanding of community engagement programs.

Skilled in using MS Teams, Zoom, e-mail and other applications.

Strong analytical, interpersonal, and facilitation abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Proficiency in English communication is highly valuable.
