The Women’s Specialty Clinic is now hiring for a Program Coordinator to support the Comprehensive High-Risk Breast Program at our clinic located on the Boise Regional Medical Center campus!
Position Summary & Highlights:The Program Coordinator will support the Comprehensive High-Risk Breast Program which is a regional program (Boise, Nampa, and Ontario) that will identify patients who may be at a higher risk of acquiring breast cancer.
The program is an intensive surveillance program aimed at identifying problems early when they are most easily treated. Patients will have to meet specific metrics with diagnostics, genetics, and other data points to be eligible for the program.
This is primarily a non-patient facing role (phone and written communication) and is an in-office position and will NOT work remotely.
Saint Alphonsus Breast Care Center's Comprehensive Breast Care Program is specifically designed to meet the needs of Idaho and Oregon residents who are concerned about breast health, breast problems or breast cancer. We offer a full range of breast health services, from prevention and screening through breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
What You Will Do:You will assist with identifying patients’ eligibility and pathways, and ensure they are scheduled with a provider for ongoing care.
This will entail pulling data from Epic for those patients that are eligible, calling and scheduling them for an appointment.
You will develop pathways for these patients to help guide them through the program and care.
Make sure program requirements are being met; consistently meeting quality standards and required timelines.
Execute on the program administration with clinical supervisor, department manager, operational director and/or medical director in support of achieving timely and quality patient care and business development goals.
Prepare and provide timely and accurate reports including data/outcomes for program, compliance, status, participant volumes and other program service reports, as needed.
Communicate program or staffing needs or concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
Investigate participant and employee complaints or concerns.
Have a strong working knowledge of program compliance requirements and risk for areas of responsibility.
Act as a resource to staff, internal and external providers for information, guidance and tools.
Assist in the development and implementation of approved program marketing and communication plans.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Strong medical terminology knowledge and understanding of healthcare data.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with colleagues, physicians, providers, and patients, including solid phone etiquette.
Solid organizational and prioritization skills including consistent and timely follow through.
Professionalism and self-initiative and are capable of contributing new ideas for content, workflow improvements, and program efficiencies.
Strong computer skills with an emphasis on MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic health records systems. Epic experience is a plus!
You enjoy working in a team environment and independently as well. You also are adaptable and flexible to evolve with the program.
Work Schedule:This position will work 40 hours per week, Monday - Fridays, around the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm.
Work Location:This position will work in the Women's Specialty clinic located at 900 N. Liberty St. Ste. 101, Boise, ID 83704.

Minimum Requirements:Must possess knowledge normally acquired through completion of an associate degree in business or healthcare related field, with two (2) or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience as a program administrator or project manager preferred.
