This position is located at the Coldstream Research Campus. To assist in actualizing our mission, we seek candidates for the position of Program Coordinator for the International Institute for Sport and Behavioral Health.
This position will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing programs and initiatives aimed at promoting mental health and well-being in sports and recreation communities. This role involves coordinating research efforts with the Sport Social Work Research Lab, supporting sport social work educational offerings, and assisting in partnership operations with the Alliance of Social Workers in Sports and the Sport Social Work Journal. The Program Coordinator will manage program planning, monitor budgets, and assess the effectiveness of initiatives to ensure they align with the institute’s mission. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience Minimum required experience: 2+ years of experience in program coordination and familiarity with behavioral health or mental health programming
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, public health, sport management, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in program development, behavioral health, or sport-focused initiatives. Experience working with sports organizations. Background in research or grant writing.
