Job Overview
The Faculty Program Coordinator II must be responsible for all aspects of the Surgical Technology program. Provides:
leadership, oversight and direction to clinical coordinator/faculty, curriculum devlopment, facilitates improvements for
program. Responsibilities: organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development, and general
effectiveness of the program. Specifically, responsibilities inlude but not limited to: teaching laboratory courses, technical
courses, participating in both educational planning and program organization, evaluating student performance, serving as
program faculty advisor, conducting annual advisory committee meeting with all communities of interest, and
monitoring/reporting student and program outcomes to ARC/STSA maintaining programmatic accreditation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
Nationally certified with NBSTSA as Certified Surgical Technician currently and must maintain certification, and any other credentials a person may currently and/or are required by GSC.
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
5-7 years of Technical Healthcare
