Support Medcom/Discharge Transportation Coord Supervisor and Medcom/Patient Placement Manager in ongoing administrative and operational project and implementation initiatives
Maintain quality review and improvement related to departmental metrics, Be Safe event review, audio and radio transmission reviews, and interdepartmental improvement initiatives
Maintain departmental policies and standard work initiatives
Administratively support ongoing departmental initiatives related to training, continuing education, and professional development opportunities
Administratively supports ongoing and future initiatives for the Bed Center and Transfer Center related to transfer protocols, SOPs, EPIC tip sheets, and any other improvement projects and ongoing or future maintenance of standard work, procedures, and policies
Coordinates orientation efforts in all departments, maintains OCAE form completions and record keeping, and maintains orientation manuals and any other training related documents
Engage in daily operations and problem-solving for MEDCOM, Bed Center Transfer Center & Discharge Transportation Coordination
Represent department through attendance of quality and operational subcommittees, including but not limited to trauma, stroke, resuscitation, emergency management working group, regional radio communications working group
Maintain internal and external working relationships with local and regional ECC/911 Emergency Communications hubs, local/regional emergency services response agencies, local/regional emergency management entities, and local/regional transport providers
Maintain radio and emergency communications plans, equipment, and strategic initiatives
Position Compensation Range: $50,419.20 - $80,662.40 AnnualMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associate’s and/or bachelor’s degree preferred, associate degree in EMT-Paramedic preferred
Experience: 3-5 years of increasing professional responsibility in the field of emergency services and/or communications, and/or hospital operations
License/Certification: None

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently walking and bending/stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
