The Program Coordinator plays an important role within the Office of Strategy and Alliances (OSA) in its work to support the mission of the Pediatric Translational Neuroscience Initiative (PTNI) in advancing research and care for catastrophic pediatric neurological diseases. As a critical member of the OSA team, the ideal candidate for this role will thrive in a stakeholder-driven environment in which communication, collaboration, and the ability to manage dynamic priorities are key to success. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in roles that require significant stakeholder interaction, such as customer service, client management, or event coordination, is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle pressure, maintain professionalism, and create a welcoming, positive environment. Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven track record of managing high-level conversations and interactions with diverse stakeholders. Must be able to convey complex information in a clear, professional, and tactful manner. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high level attention to detail. Friendly, approachable demeanor with a high level of professionalism. Ability to build trust and rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization and external partners, contributing to a positive, collaborative environment. Job Responsibilities: Administer one or more programs or projects. Define program or project requirements, identify interdependencies with internal or external departments or service providers, and coordinate to receive their input. Develop communications regarding the program or project; Develop project plans and/or programmatic process. Develop and track metrics, provide complex data analysis & interpretation and develop program related reports. Make recommendations for program or process improvements by providing inputs for systemic changes to program or project management processes for better planning, scope management, and risk prevention. Support the design and implementation of policies, process and procedures. Develop process for execution of program initiatives. Engage with program management teams internally and vendors externally for coordination. May mentor less experienced team members. Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution. Maintains regular and predictable attendance. Minimum Education and/or Training: Bachelors degree required. Minimum Experience: Minimum requirement: 3+ years of experience in program management delivery. Significant experience working with project planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Microsoft SharePoint, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, Clarity, Planview, MS Office). Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
