**Description** SAIC is seeking a **Program Cost Analyst** located at **Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey** to support the **Project Manager Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS)** to provide Government accounting and financial assistance to the assigned area and financial manager regarding financial and accounting functions, the application of accounting principles, policies, and procedures. **JOB DESCRIPTION:** + Provide knowledge of Government Accounting functions and use Government financial systems + Provide accounting advice and assistance to team members and Government leadership and provide briefings on accounting matters when needed + Research and resolve abnormal account conditions/transactions + Conduct on-going reviews of accounts to quickly discover abnormal conditions and to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and/or directives + Liaise with external accounting organizations to resolve abnormal account conditions, perform audit functions, and ensure financial accountability + Support audits and quarterly reviews **Qualifications** **REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** + Bachelors and five (5)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree + Must Possess knowledge of Government Accounting functions and Government financial systems. + Experience working with audits and quarterly reviews + Experience providing accounting advice and briefing teams on accounting matters **REQUIRED CLEARANCE:** + Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; Interim Secret required prior to start, SAIC will help to obtain + Must be a current U.S. Citizen REQNUMBER: 2502333 SAIC is a premier technology integrator, solving our nation's most complex modernization and systems engineering challenges across the defense, space, federal civilian, and intelligence markets.
