This position is eligible for benefits and has a salary starting range of $93,000-$116,000/yr.

Position Summary
The Program Director will oversee the clinical and administrative functions of the program and lead a multidisciplinary team (therapists, case managers, engagement specialists, data entry specialists, nurse practitioners) to provide behavioral health services in an outpatient setting.
Outpatient services include individual and group therapy, both in general outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, for mental health and substance use treatment. Further services include case management, clinical assessment including behavioral health diagnosis and referral for medication management when needed, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and aftercare.
The Program Director is also responsible for the service delivery targets, budget targets, compliance with quality and reporting metric targets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Administrative:
Responsible for the hiring, training, and supervision of clinical staff. Oversee scheduling for the overall operations to meet the needs of clients served and reporting requirements. Oversee clinical documentation is both timely and thorough. Meet with State of CT Judicial Branch Court Support Services Division administrators for monthly meetings and audits to ensure program deliverables are met. Work with billing department to ensure timely and accurate submission of service claims. Adhere to budget guidelines and work with clinical team to adjust service delivery to meet client need and optimize funding for program. Participate in leadership meetings with other Program Directors to assist in program implementation and broader strategic initiatives. Participate in CRJ workgroups as needed to offer expertise and guidance on new initiatives and program enhancements.CLINICAL
Lead clinical team meetings daily to review clinical issues, service delivery, scheduling, and difficult case conferences. Meet with external providers to collaborate clinical care and market program to the community. Meet with clinical staff for individual and group supervision to provide clinical direction, advise on staff development, and advise on policy and procedures. When needed assist the clinical team by providing strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed assessments and treatment to clients with mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. Provide crisis intervention as needed. Oversee that substance use toxicology screens are ordered and completed by staff as needed. Oversee evidenced based treatment is provided by well trained staff both ethically and appropriately for clients served.QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field required Behavioral Health Licensure, such as LCSW or LPC, required. Experienced in clinical supervision in an outpatient program required. Experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment both group and individual therapy required. Two to three years of management experience preferred. Experience with third party billing preferred. Experience working with the criminal justice population preferred. Experienced in providing Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, Dialectical Behavioral Treatment, Seeking Safety Treatment, and working with criminal justice population preferred.
