Position Overview QCH is seeking a dedicated Program Director to lead the Community Resources for Employment and Development (CRED NYC) trades training programs within our College and Career Services division. This role is responsible for overseeing program operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery for participants aged 18–30 who have been directly impacted by the justice system or reside in high-crime communities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in community engagement, program management, and workforce development, along with a strong passion for client-centered outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Management & Development + Oversee the day-to-day operations of the trades training programs, ensuring excellence in service delivery and participant outcomes. + Develop and implement program curricula, workshops, and activities tailored to participant needs. + Monitor program performance using QCH’s Salesforce data system, making improvements as needed to enhance effectiveness. Staff Supervision & Development + Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, including trainers and the job developer. + Provide ongoing professional development, coaching, and support to build a cohesive, high-performing team. Participant Support & Engagement + Ensure participants receive personalized support, including academic counseling, postsecondary planning, and soft-skill development. + Foster a positive and inclusive program culture that prioritizes participant engagement and success. Collaboration & Partnerships + Partner with community organizations, employers, and stakeholders to integrate CRED NYC into the local workforce landscape. + Develop and strengthen relationships with businesses and community partners to expand internship and career opportunities. + Conduct quarterly site visits to evaluate internship placements. Administrative & Compliance Duties + Track program metrics and outcomes using Salesforce and other reporting tools. + Ensure compliance with QCH and DYCD funder requirements, including timely reporting and documentation. + Meet key program milestones: ✔ 100% participant enrollment ✔ 70% credential course completion ✔ 100% job placement rate + Maintain compliance with all policies, regulations, and program standards. Additional Responsibilities + Participate in QCH meetings, events, and training opportunities. + Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational goals. Qualifications ✔ Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). ✔ 3–5 years of experience in youth program management, ideally in community-based settings. ✔ Proven ability to lead staff supervision, program design, and budget management. ✔ Experience working with at-risk youth and adult populations. ✔ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. ✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems (e.g., Salesforce). ✔ Familiarity with the Fair Chance Act is a plus.
