Job Summary and Responsibilities The Program Director plays a pivotal role in strategically planning, directing, and overseeing the resources of operational team(s) and ensuring contract compliance and achieving operational and financial goals. They will serve as crucial subject matter expert within expert their assigned contract or solution area, individuals in this capacity provide leadership for substantial and intricate contracts and their associated team(s). Collaborating closely with key stakeholders in the organization, the Program Director actively contributes to the creation of solutions and fosters growth and development. Acentra seeks a Program Director to join our growing team. *Position is remote* Job Summary: Manage and coordinate healthcare programs, ensuring the successful delivery of services, projects, and deliverables on schedule and within budget. Monitor program performance metrics, quality performance, deliverables, and budgets to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and organizational goals. Identify and address operational challenges, leveraging problem-solving skills to deliver practical solutions. Maintain strong, successful relationships with clients and key stakeholders, serving as a primary point of contact for program-related communication. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, technical, and administrative personnel, to ensure seamless program execution. Develop and implement methods and procedures to improve program efficiency and outcomes. Manage program risk by identifying potential issues, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring readiness for program launch and day-to-day operations. Prepare status reports and updates for internal leadership and client stakeholders. Support strategic planning initiatives to align program activities with organizational objectives and contribute to growth and innovation. Provide operational oversight and guidance to team members responsible for specific program functions or phases. Collaborate with Business Development to support new business opportunities as requested. Qualifications Required Qualifications/Experience: Active, unrestricted Licensed RN in Colorado or compact state. Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, nursing, social work or a related field. Requires 3+ years of experience in program or project management, with demonstrated leadership capabilities. 3+ years assessing patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans. Medicaid, Medicare or healthcare verticals domain knowledge. Familiarity with clinical or healthcare operations. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage clients, team members, and stakeholders. Analytical and problem-solving skills to address program challenges and deliver actionable solutions. Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage program budgets effectively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and proven ability to learn proprietary software applications. Travel up to 10%, program dependent. Preferred Qualifications/Experience: Master’s degree preferred. Considerable experience managing contract operations including contract administration functions. 3+ years of utilization management. Recent experience in public and/or private sector healthcare providing services to government programs. Ability to work within company’s decision-making and organizational structure. Skill in examining and re-examining operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures. Knowledge of healthcare industry; preferably with experience in both public and private sector. Ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data and prepare business reports, projections, and recommendations. Ability to develop, plan, and implement short-and long-range goals. Skill in employee development and performance management. Ability to successfully manage change and growth. Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to management team. Advanced verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies. Knowledge of business development, strategic planning, and tactical implementation. Ability to participate as a team member fostering collaborative decision- making. Why us?
