**Introduction** We are looking for a Head of AI Developer Advocacy to attract and engage developers, making watsonx one of the go-to platforms for AI experimentation. In this role, you will create high-impact content that resonates with developers, AI engineers, and our growing community across social media and developer platforms. You will be the bridge between technical innovation and engaging communication—turning cutting-edge advancements into practical, hands-on resources that developers can use immediately. You’ll drive technical deep dives, tutorials, and interactive content that showcase key product features and engage developers on Discord, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn and in IRL events. **Your role and responsibilities** Whether it’s launching cookbooks the moment a new AI model drops, crafting engaging videos that break down real-world use cases, or leading interactive, live coding sessions, your role is to ensure developers don’t just hear about watsonx - they build with it. Key Responsibilities: * Lead the Developer Advocacy distributed team and our advocacy strategy for watsonx, positioning IBM as the premier AI platform for developers. * Create and distribute high-quality technical content, including blogs, tutorials, how-tos, videos, and social media posts that showcase real-world AI use cases and product updates. * Ensure content is both developer-friendly and widely shareable, making complex AI concepts easy to consume across platforms like X, Instagram, and LinkedIn. * Engage actively with developer communities, answering questions, fostering discussions, and driving adoption via Discord, live streams, and AI events & hackathons. * Collaborate with product teams to translate new features into compelling assets that resonate with developers. * Produce and edit videos that highlight key AI features and concepts for social media and YouTube. * Stay ahead of AI and tech communication trends, continuously evolving our content approach to maximize developer engagement. **Required technical and professional expertise** Qualifications: * Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AI/ML, strong Python skills, with experience working with AI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI. You’ll need to understand and explain watsonx features from a technical perspective. * Content Creation: Proven experience creating technical content for developers, AI engineers, or a similar audience. * Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of how to create and promote technical content on platforms like X, Instagram, and LinkedIn. * Community Engagement: Experience participating in or managing online communities, especially Discord or similar developer-focused forums. * Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Ability to break down complex topics into simple, engaging content. * Portfolio: Proven track record of writing and producing technical content, with examples of previous work. * Video Editing: Basic video editing skills are a plus but not mandatory. **Preferred technical and professional experience** Hiring manager and Recruiter should collaborate to create the relevant verbiage.
