THE POSITION

The Program Director will be responsible for managing the success of the developmental office. The Program Director will be tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction, as well as creating and managing long term goals. The Program Director will also be responsible for developing and maintaining budgets and operating plans for programs.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

   GENERAL PROGRAM OVERSIGHT 

Provide program oversight, including transportation, incident reports, etc. Maintain department policies and procedures, and develop additional policies as neededImplement and be department contact for all EMR systemsOversee contracts with schools or other outside agenciesEnsure the program is in support of the company mission and company strategic planMaintain and implement new and current service models in compliance with state regulationsEnsure centers meet compliance with state and federal  guidelinesManage intakes for new participants

   PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT

Provide general performance management of department staffOversee the recruitment and onboarding process of new employeesDevelop, facilitate or participate in meetings, trainings, and team building activitiesEnsure departmental compliance regarding required trainings and certificationsProvide direct supervision and training to assigned staff Monitor department’s recruitment goals and collaborate with recruitment team as neededResponsible for supporting and collaborating in the development of company-wide employee retention activities

   BUDGETING/FINANCE 

Develop annual department budgetManage expenses to client volume and develop ways to meet revenue goalsMonitor department financials and complete follow up as requiredReview documentation, invoices, claims reporting, for quality assurance and accuracy

BUSINESS STRATEGY

Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organizationEvaluate department performance and implement strategies for improvementProvide strategic vision an strong leadership to the departmentParticipate in committees, associations and other external stakeholder gatherings as assigned 

LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
