Requirements
Board certification in orthopedic surgery (Orthopedic traumatology preferred but not required.) Extensive clinical experience in orthopedic surgery. Proven track record of leadership and mentorship. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in medical education.

What to expect:
As a Peninsula Orthopedics team member, forty percent of the time will be dedicated to the development of the residency program in collaboration with TidalHealth Peninsula Regional Hospital, adjusting to thirty percent allocation after two years. The remaining sixty to seventy percent of the time will be allocated to traditional clinical practice (inpatient, outpatient, etc). 1:12 call rotation with 24/7 in-hospital PA coverage. Private practice providing world-class orthopaedic care for over 70 years. Sub-specialty practice with Shoulder, Sports Medicine, Spine, Adult Reconstruction, Hand, podiatry (nonoperative,) and Trauma. Multiple revenue streams including high-volume, high-efficiency ASC (high ancillary income,) physical Therapy and Durable Medical Equipment. 14 Physicians, 19 PAs/NPs, 15 PT/Ots.
