We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** **Program Director (PMC)** **Abu Dhabi, UAE** Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Program Director** to join our team! In this role you will get to **lead a Project Management Consultant team to deliver major programs in Abu Dhabi.** **What You'll Be Doing:** + Lead and manage a large, multidisciplinary team, providing guidance, annual performance reviews, and career development advice to foster professional growth and ensure high performance. + Lead meetings with the client and provide strategic advice across multiple areas of specialization (Design/Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Handover) for major development projects. + Review and assess the client’s current project delivery strategy, advising on improvements and ensuring alignment with internal teams to achieve milestones and adhere to cost plans. + Oversee and manage deliverables between internal and external design teams to ensure project milestones are met. Similarly, coordinate with the internal construction supervision team and external contractors to ensure efficient delivery. + Manage the Project Controls team in preparing, updating, and issuing monthly reports. Maintain the baseline program, propose necessary changes, and secure client approval for any adjustments. + Provide strategic inputs and advice across all phases of the program life cycle to enhance the client’s vision and add value to the project. + Operate and manage project budgets to ensure financial objectives are met, proactively addressing potential cost issues as they arise. + Ensure the project consistently meets or exceeds the goals established in the strategic plans, driving project success in line with the client’s expectations. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a reputable institution. + Minimum of 20 years of experience in construction management, specifically managing large-scale infrastructure projects. Proven track record of delivering mega PMC projects on time, within scope, and on budget. + Prior experience delivering projects in the UAE + Superior analytical skills with experience in handling large volumes of financial, statistical, and performance data. Ability to quickly analyze complex data and make informed decisions or provide strategic advice to the client in fast-paced environments + Expertise in contract negotiations, both internally with teams and externally with contractors, ensuring terms are aligned with program objectives and client requirements. + Proven ability to navigate and resolve conflicts efficiently. This project will involve tight schedules and inevitable challenges, so exceptional conflict resolution skills are necessary to maintain momentum and address delays. + Expertise in managing diverse stakeholders, addressing scope gaps, and ensuring effective communication to maintain project deliverables while managing cost and schedule constraints. + Strong skills in resource allocation and management to ensure the efficient delivery of the project in accordance with contractual commitments. Ability to optimize resources while balancing multiple project priorities. + Mastery of project management methodologies and tools including milestone planning, process mapping, change management, root cause analysis, scenario analysis, cost-benefit analysis, scheduling tools, and post-project lessons learned. Ability to apply these techniques to optimize project delivery and mitigate risks. + Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate diverse teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and fostering collaboration across disciplines. + Outstanding communication skills with mastery of English (both written and spoken).
