Program Engagement Specialist

      

Our Advice and Planning Services team is seeking a Program Engagement Specialist to provide programmatic support to our Plan Design Services program. This role will assist key areas of the planning department, focusing on enhancing program procedures, processes, and promotion of the program. This role involves managing billing, providing client service to advisors, and ensuring program timelines are met. The Specialist will also play a critical role in supporting data entry into core advice tools and driving program adoption by educating advisors, monitoring usage, and identifying opportunities for growth.

This dynamic role is for a highly organized individual passionate about driving program success, supporting core advice tools, delivering exceptional client service, and building lasting advisor relationships.

This can be a remote position within the US.

         

          

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  

 

Program Support and Engagement 

Partner closely with financial planning team members to assess workflows and ensure timelines are met.  

Collaborate with Advice leadership and Distribution partners to develop and enhance the promotion of the team. 

Focus on driving adoption of the paraplanning program by creating engagement plans and educating advisors on its benefits. 

Conduct outreach, offer demos, and lead onboarding sessions for advisors and their teams. 

Monitor program usage metrics and identify growth opportunities. 

Advisor Support and Client Service 

Manage advisor requests, resolve inquiries, and maintain accurate client information and documentation. 

Deepen existing client relationships by ensuring high-quality service delivery. 

Research and respond promptly to advisor inquiries and feedback. 

Data Entry and Tool Support 

Enter client data into core advice tools, including Salesforce, MoneyGuide Pro and Morningstar.   

Ensure accuracy and consistency across all platforms to support seamless advisor workflows. 

Maintain and update CRM (Salesforce) records with relevant client and program information. 

Administrative Duties 

Manage team calendar and processes to ensure timelines are met.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:   

 Required: 

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.  

3+ years of industry experience required. 

Skills and Competencies:

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. 

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools like Salesforce. 

Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new business tools and systems. 

Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high-quality work in a dynamic environment 

Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information 

Preferred: 

Powerpoint or marketing experience to promote the program effectively. 

A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and implement process improvements. 

Degree in financial planning, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (preferred). 

Experience with financial planning tools, including MoneyGuide Pro, Tax Software, and Morningstar.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $65,765.00 - $88,976.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
