About the Role 

The Program Enhancement and Expansion Coordinator (PEEC) will work closely with the Organization’s leadership to ensure the provision of high-quality services and support programmatic goals in a mission-driven culture. This newly designed position will support the operation of the Organization’s programs through the development of enhanced programming within and across divisions and will support the development of new programming for the Organization. 

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned. 

 

Active commitment to organizational mission and vision and providing high quality programs. Support a high performing culture aligned with Rising Ground’s expectations and core values. 

 

Working closely with organization leadership to ensure success in program operations.  This includes but is not limited to:    

 

Working closely with the Institutional Advancement Department and program leadership to support mission driven program development and expansion.  This includes governmental contracts, fee for service programming and supplemental funding through private foundations. Ensure that deadlines are met, linkage agreements and MOUs are complete and that content for applications is strong. When contract awards are made, support the organization's needs to execute the program launch.  This includes supporting the operations departments in their work to launch the programs, assisting the development of program protocols when needed, and supporting hiring new staff.  Working with program leadership to identify innovative interventions and modalities to enhance existing programs and/or improve efficiencies.  This includes new evidence-based practice models, innovative interventions, improved technology and access to additional resources to support the organization's work. Work closely with the training department to develop training plans when necessary. Supporting programs and divisions through the accreditation process.  This may include assisting in the review and revision of policies and procedures to conform with standards, supporting the program through the actual accreditation process and managing and items for follow-up. Manage and track all Program Improvement Plans, Corrective Action Plans and other feedback from oversight that requires follow-up.  Ensure that all responses are completed within the required timeframe.  Develop a tracking system for submission to the CPO so that trends may be reviewed. Support programs in their development of tracking systems for their performance indicators as needed and serve as a liaison between program and the Performance Evaluation and Measurement (PEM) Department for Performance Effectiveness Indicators. In partnership with the ACPO, manage the implementation of PROMISE, the Organization’s trauma informed, person centered system and philosophy of service delivery.  Support organization-wide initiatives such as the person supported satisfaction surveys to ensure maximum participation.  Work with program leaders to develop and execute responses.  Track progress. Develop system to track mission effectiveness efforts and work with programs and support departments to ensure that barriers to mission driver work are addressed/ Develop and maintain dashboards for program indicators as needed. Managing special projects 

 

Raise the Organization’s profile through external communications, representation at key events, serving on advisory boards, relevant committees and task forces.  

 

Keep abreast and maintain knowledge of current, developing trends, research and best practice models.  Qualifications Master’s degree or equivalent preferred, plus five years' experience working in a human services organization.  Comprehensive working knowledge of program planning, programmatic regulations, requirements, budgets, and current best practices  Experience in project management. Experience in data-driven evaluations and analyses.  Ability to develop and maintain dashboards. Ability to work closely with Performance, Evaluation and Measurement Department to ensure the delivery of qualitative and quantitative goals and outcomes of programs and services.  Analyze and assess programs based on data collected and implement corrective measures if required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:  
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday in our Headquarters at 1333 Broadway office in Midtown Manhattan. Work hours options are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, 10 am - 6 pm. 

 

Additional Requirements:  

Authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to work in-person in New York City (NY) for at least 3 days or more per week. Ability to travel to other Rising Ground sites (if required)

Our Compensation & Benefits 

The pay rate for this position is between $90,000 - $110,000/Yr., depending on experience and fit for the role. Rising Ground offers competitive compensation based on the midpoint of the market among not-for-profit organizations of similar size. We believe in compensating staff members fairly in relation to each other, their qualifications, and their impact on behalf of the organization, and take internal and external equity seriously.
